Message from Karl Wall

Doc Brock was my forensics coach at RVRHS which I graduated from in 1975. I learned a great deal from him about public speaking and debating. I also learned a lot about life from him. Both of those sets of lessons served me well throughout my life.

He always treated me like an adult even though I was really a kid. His influence on me led me to pick my college, Emerson College, and to get a degree in Public Speaking. I continued to pursue forensic competitions and did quite well. I met many of my closest friends doing this. All of that was due to his guidance and advice.

Thanks you Doc Brock. I still remember our adventures together. Rest in peace.

Dr. Brockow was my English teacher my senior year of high school. Very funny with a slight ego but dry sense of humour (and he was actually very sweet.) He had a big impact on my life. I wish I could have met him again after high school.

Al, you were more like a father to me than a father in law. I have been by your side for the past 27 years and tried to have your back every chance I could. I will truly miss you and am very glad to have had you in my life. Won't know what to do on Tuesday mornings now. I'll have to work out by myself.
