Edmund M Hallowell

EDMUND M. HALLOWELL of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16th, 2016. He was 88 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Edmund M. and Deretta Sands Hallowell and has resided in Tabernacle for 30 yrs. moving there from Mt. Holly, NJ.  Ed was a graduate of Germantown H.S. and Temple University and he was the former owner of Hallowell & Company in Mt. Holly, NJ, until his retirement.  An active member of Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ, he was an instrumental part of the Video Ministry of the church.  He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and numerous outdoors activities.  He was an awesome cook and a musician playing the piano, organ and singing.  He is the Beloved Husband of Joanne M. Stokes-Hallowell of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving Father of Jill Hallowell-Foley of Hilton Head, SC, the late Caryll Wilson, Christopher J. Stokes of Hainesport, NJ, Jay Michael Stokes of Medford, NJ, and Raymond A. Stokes of Glenside, PA.  He was also Grandfather of 13, Great Grandfather of several and is missed dearly by his faithful companion, Charlie.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Celebration of his Life will be held at 10:00 AM.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
