Edward Joseph Weimer

EDWARD J. WEIMER of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.  He was 88 years of age.  Born and raised in Marion Heights, a coal mining town in PA, he graduated High School from the neighboring town of Kulpmont in 1947.  He spent three years in the US Air Force and after being discharged he attended Drexel University in Phila. PA graduating with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.  He spent his career in the Semi-Conductor Industry, before moving to Ft. Myers in 1998.  He is the Beloved Husband of 55 yrs. to Nancy (nee Carito) Weimer of Ft. Myers, FL and the Loving Father of 4 children, William Weimer (Michelle) of Tampa, FL, Susan Kroh (Ken) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Karen Benn (Dave) of Acton, MA and Edward Weimer (Corrie) of West Chester, PA.  He is also survived by his 11 Grandchildren Bailey, Beau and Brock Weimer, Andrew (Erin), Megan & Mackenzie Kroh, Jake, Jessie & Kacie Benn and Quinn & Reaghan Weimer.  He always valued family and education.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, Sept. 30th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Isaac Joques, 349 Evesboro Medford Road, Marlton, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, in Wrightstown, NJ.  Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Bradley Stow Funeral Home in Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests Memorial Donations to the American Legion, 899 Buttonwood Drive, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
