Helen (Furgione) Capri

Helen Capri (nee Furgione), age 94, of Delanco, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2017, at the Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, NJ.   Helen was born in Rosedale, NJ she attended Hammonton High School, Class of 1940 and the Maison De Paris Beauty School in Camden, NJ.  She moved to Beverly in 1946 after the war.  Helen is a member of the "greatest generation.”  Helen was married to World War II Paratrooper Angelo Capri of Hammonton for 63 years until his passing in 2006.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Alter Rosary Society.  She had a love of life, family, travel and quilting.  She is the Beloved Mother of Ann Zecher and her husband Brian of Lambertville, NJ, Patricia Capri of Delanco, NJ and Samuel Capri and his wife Louise of Mt. Laurel, NJ.  She is also survived by her sister Alice Bastien of Gloucester, NJ, her in-laws Carmen Capri of Vincentown, NJ, Albert & Flossie Capri of Southampton, Joyce & Harvey Wilson of Burlington Twp., NJ and also 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church, Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM.  Private inurnment will take place on Friday at the Beverly National Cemetery.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the Sacred Heart Catholic School, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ 08104, the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club.
