ISOBEL M.D. MULDOWNEY, (nee Hellyer) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on July 8th, 2015.  She was 87 yrs. of age.  Born in Newark, she is the daughter of the late Walter & Elizabeth Hellyer and the wife of the late John Wm. Muldowney.  A Registered Nurse for the Summit Medical Group in Summit, NJ, she is a graduate of the Hackensack School of Nursing in 1948 and served as a Reserve Nurse for the US Government during WWII.  Her passion for nursing and education was her motivation for donating her remains to the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.  She was a member of Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ and was active in the JOY group and participated in Missions Trips.  She was a graduate of Burlington County College and an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, Hospice and the Food Bank of NJ.  She also enjoyed knitting and held her own label.  She is the Loving Mother of Paul Muldowney of Phila., PA, Ann Muldowney of Vera Beach, FL, Mary Dias of Medford, NJ and Patricia Cengiz of Houston, TX, Grandmother of 8 and Great Grandmother of 3.  She is the mother of the late Cathleen, Peter and Elizabeth Muldowney.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ, where a Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private in the St. Theresa’s Cemetery in Summit, NJ.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to the FAC Missions Trip Fund, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ  08055.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
