James Robert Christy

JAMES R. CHRISTY, of Medford, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 22nd, 2017.  He was 75 yrs. of age.  Born in Stratford, NJ, he has resided in Medford his entire life.  A former owner of Christy Supplies in Medford, NJ, the business has been in the Christy family from 1956 to 1987.  Jim was very involved in Medford Twp. serving on Medford Town Council and a two term Mayor of the Township.  He was also the owner of the Medford Stock Farm and enjoyed working on his gentleman farm.  Jim was a veteran of the US Army.  He is the Beloved Father of Steven J. Christy and his wife Donna Marie of Beaver Dams, NY and Kimberly Christy of Austin, TX and the Loving Grandfather of Austin James Christy.  Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ  08043.
