James J. Hess

JAMES J. HESS, of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5th, 2015.  He was 72 yrs. of age.  Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Michael & Mary Hess.  Jim worked for many years as a Manufacturing Engineer for Ametek Inc.  Also, he served in the United States Marine Corp. for six years.  Jim enjoyed the ocean and you could find him on his boat, fishing in the nice weather.  As a hobby, Jim enjoyed carpentry work. Jim is the Beloved Husband of Judith Hess (Nee Raudenbush) of Medford, NJ.  He is the Loving Father of Edward Hess and his wife Jacqueline of Marlton, NJ, and Melinda Cooke and her husband Charles of Marlton, NJ.  He is the Loving Grandfather of James Ryan Hess, Jeffrey A. Clem Anne Cooke and Thomas Cooke.  Jim is the Loving Brother of Kathleen Smock and her husband Lawrence of Pine Hill, NJ, and Michael J. Steep and his wife Christine of Palo Alto, CA.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Thursday November 12 from 5 PM- 6:30 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ.  A Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 PM. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.  (BradleyStow.com)
