John D Volpe

JOHN D. VOLPE Sr. of Locust Lake Village in Pocono Lakes, PA, went home to be with his Lord peacefully on Saturday, January 28th, 2017, at the age of 69.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he is the son of the late Dominic & Jennie Volpe and has resided in Locust Lake Village for the past 10 yrs., moving there from Ocean City, NJ and Cherry Hill, NJ.  John is a long time Auto Dealer, owning many different dealerships throughout the southern NJ area including National Auto Wholesalers in Atlantic City, NJ.  He was a 30 year member of Kingsway Assembly in Cherry Hill and a recent member of New Life Assembly in Egg Harbor, NJ.  He is the Beloved Husband of 52 years of Helena M. (nee Hearn) Volpe of and the Loving Father of Donna Marie Rosner and her husband Robert Jr. of Somerdale, NJ, John D. Volpe Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Blakeslee, PA and the late Michael Anthony Volpe and his wife Crystal Emard-Volpe.  He is also survived by his sisters Della Sargent of Turnersville, NJ and Lucille Riding of Bellmawr, NJ, his grandchildren John D. Volpe III, James Volpe, Daniel Volpe, Robert Rosner III, Ivan Rosner, Olivia Emard-Volpe, Faith Emard-Volpe and Nathan Volpe, his great grandson Dominic Volpe and several nieces and nephews.    Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Thursday, February 2nd, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W.
