Katherine Iwanczuk

Katherine Iwanczuk (nee Wojtaszewski), recently of Southampton, NJ, passed peacefully into God’s loving arms on December 31, 2017.  She was ​76 ​years old and had bravely battled multiple myeloma for four years. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Agripina Wojtaszewski.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed studying the Bible, gardening, reading and spending time with her family.  She was a faithful member of Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ.   Katherine will be greatly missed by Halik Iwanczuk, her beloved husband of ​58 years.  She also leaves behind her cherished family, daughters Linda Stout (Allen) and Donna Vermeesch (Andrew), grandchildren Denise Rountree (John), AJ Stout (Erica), Justin Vermeesch (Kristen) and Jared Vermeesch, great-grandchildren Adelaide and Heidi Rountree and Peyton Stout, as well as brother Wasyl Wojtaszewski (Maria), sister-in-law Nina Kingsbury and many much-loved nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers or baskets, Katherine and the entire family requested that donations be made to Jewish Voice Ministry, 10850 North 24​th​ Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85029, for their International Medical Missions program.  Katherine’s brother and sister-in-law, Wasyl and Maria Wojtaszewski, are involved with this ministry.  The entire family would like to express their gratitude to Samaritan Hospice for their exceptional care of Katherine and the compassion and kindness shown to the family throughout this journey.  They truly are angels of mercy among us.  A private memorial service will be held for the family.  Funeral Services are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME of Medford, NJ.   (www.BradleyStow.com)
