Pauline (Prystansky) Brynko

PAULINE BRYNKO, 91, of Shamong, N.J., passed away on March 23, 2017, at her home.  Pauline was born in Findlater, Saskatchewan, on January 30, 1926, to Stephen and Barbara Prystansky. She lived and worked in Kettering, Ohio, West Webster, N.Y., and Oakland, N.J., before settling in Shamong. She had worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross, as an administrative assistant at Ecko Products, Inc., in Fair Lawn, N.J., and at Reprographic Materials, Inc., her husband’s company, in Pompton Lakes, N.J., and most recently, at the Diocese of Camden in the Buildings Division from 1994 to 2010, when she retired at the age of 84. Pauline was a wonderful mother, devoted wife, and caring friend. On behalf of her entire family, she will be very missed by all. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, who died in 1990, after 43 years of marriage; her parents, Stephen and Barbara; and one sister, Anne (Prystansky) Shewchuk, and her husband, John, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  Pauline is survived by her son, Carl Gregory, of Medford, N.J., and his wife, Alisa, Brynko; daughter, Barbara Brynko, of Shamong; a granddaughter, Erin E. Bornemann, of Goleta, Calif.; three nephews, John (Eleanor) Shewchuk, of Winnipeg, David (Kathryn) Shewchuk, of Victoria, British Columbia, and Gerry Shewchuk, of Vancouver, British Columbia, and one niece, Terri Anne Shewchuk, of Winnipeg.  Visitation will be held at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home in Medford, N.J., on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a service at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME in Medford, NJ.  A funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada, with Internment at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Portage at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Portage.
