Robert Joseph Konefal

ROBERT J. KONEFAL of Medford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 10th, 2018.  He was 85 yrs. of age.  Born in Garfield, NJ is the son of the late Joseph and Mary Konefal and was a resident of Medford, NJ since April 1970.  He was a graduate of Bristol H.S., Class of 1950 and Penn State University, Class of 1954.  Robert was employed by RCA as a Manager, Program Administration for 30 years.  During the Korean conflict, he served with the US Air Force as a Special Projects Officer assigned to the Air Research and Development Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH.  He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Jean M. (nee Lackman) Konefal and his sons Joseph James Konefal, Stephen Marion Konefal and Robert George Konefal.  He is survived by his son Michael John Konefal of Chevy Chase, MD.  Graveside Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the St. Michael’s Cemetery, 120 Saddle River Road, South Hackensack, NJ.
