SALVATORE J. CHIOLO of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017. He was 83 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the husband of the late Mary “Connie) Chiolo (nee Carito) and the son of the late Vincenzo & Guiseppina Chiolo. Sal, “known by many as Sam”, has resided in Mt. Laurel for the past 4 years moving there from Cherry Hill, NJ where he resided for 43 years. He is the former owner and operator of The Seafood Villa in Marlton, NJ for 15 years and also worked for the Camden County Board of Social Service in Camden, NJ for over 20 years. He is a long time member of The Church of St. Mary’s in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is the Beloved Father of Cindy Chiolo-Walsh and her husband Bill of Galloway Twp., NJ and Stephanie Chiolo-Rutcosky and her husband Mike of Logan Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael Rutcosky Jr., Amanda Rutcosky, Sam Rutcosky and Kelly Walsh and his great granddaughter Riley Mae. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private in the Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
