Sara Lorraine (Ramson) Land

SARA LORRAINE LAND (nee Ramson) of Southampton, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017.  She was 88 years young.  Lorraine, as she went by, was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1928.  She was the wife of the late Dennis D. Land.  She was a member of the Oakgrove Presbyterian Church in Southampton and a long time resident of Hampton Lakes.  After raising three children, Lorraine worked at F.W. Woolworth at the Moorestown Mall.  She leaves behind Donna Starling of Southampton, NJ, David Land (Therese) of Marlton, NJ and Dr. Stephen Land (Sherrie) of Southampton, NJ.   She was also the loving Grandmother to Christopher Starling (Tiffany) of Myrtle Beach, SC, JD Land (Tina) of Marlton, Adam Land of Marlton, Dennis Land (Nicole) of Shamong and Daniel Land of Southampton.  Also, she was most recently a Great-Grandmother to Caden Land of Shamong.   The family would also like to express its heartfelt thanks to Nance McConnell who made a tremendous impact on Lorraine’s final time and allowed her to remain at home during her illness.  At Lorraine’s request, there will be no viewing or ceremony.  In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family respectfully requests that you please consider making a donation to the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church of Southampton or the Samaritan Hospice of Marlton (SamaritanNJ.org).  (www.BradleyStow.com)
