WILLIAM F. HERBERT, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017.  He was 96 yrs. of age. Born in Del Ray, VA, he is the son of the late William Truxton and Cecilia (Fenton) Herbert.  Bill has resided in Cherry Hill for the past 3 years, moving there from Shamong, NJ.  Before that Bill and his wife, Evelyn, lived in Rancocas Woods for 30 years where they raised their family. An Accountant with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society in Philadelphia, PA, he retired in 1986.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII with the 511th Airborne Signal Company in the 11th Airborne Division.  He is the Beloved Husband of Evelyn L. (nee Landenberger) Herbert of Cherry Hill, NJ and the Loving Father of Lynne D. Brick of Medford, NJ and Jeff Herbert with his wife Ellyn of Newark, DE.  His grandchildren Scott Brick, Adam Brick, Michael Brick, Jack Herbert and Sam Herbert and his great grandchildren Landon, Dylan and Noah Brick, also survive him. Bill was a man of many interests and talents including photography, woodworking, watercolors and model trains.  Camping was the favorite family travel mode and he and Evelyn camped all over the United States from 1946 to the 1990s.   Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Medford Friends Meeting House, Union Street, Medford, NJ.  The family will greet friends after the service.  Internment with military honors will be held at 3:00 PM in the chapel at the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.  Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
