Edward Francis Fowler of Medford, New Jersey passed away on February 7, 2024. He was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on September 27, 1945. He is survived by his wife Carol Frances Fowler, son Timothy Edward Fowler, and granddaughter Cheyenne Hailey Fowler, sister Karen Elizabeth Eleuteri, sister Kay Ellen Bowker, brother-in-law Frank Bowker, nephew Pierce Edward Bowker, niece Erin Elizabeth Bowker and niece Tina Elizabeth Spering.
Edward, known to most as Ed, was a man of many talents and many passions. He was a successful sales executive, but would probably consider that to be one of his lesser accomplishments.
His love of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was his first priority, and this was a driving force in much of his efforts, as he worked in his local church with youth and adults as a leader and teacher. Many have been touched by those ministries and can say they are still blessed because of him.
He also loved his immediate and extended family, and the extended family included many who weren’t related by blood but were related because of his heart for others. This led to many good times at his home and his house at the shore; he always opened them to those in his life.
Ed enjoyed the physical side of helping others also. He was skilled in many areas of construction and used those skills whenever he could. To enable this he subscribed to the belief that “whoever has the most tools wins” and practiced this diligently.
Of course, all of this activity required him to make many decisions, leading him to often say “I made the best wrong decision I could”. However we as a family believe there were many more right decisions than wrong.
We celebrate his life and look forward to when we reunite in eternity.
Ed's memorial service will be held on March 16, 2024 in the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ 08055 at 11AM. There will be a visitation from 10AM-11AM.
