A large part of the mission of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home is to meet the needs of the families that we serve. To us this means more than just providing a funeral, but assisting them in walking through their grief. We work to accomplish this in several different ways. “Pathways Through Grief” is a booklet we offer each family we serve that is written to assist them in their day-to-day walk through grief. The booklet goes over many of the different feelings and experiences that families will face in the days and weeks to come. “Pathways Through Grief Bereavement Seminar” is an annual event sponsored by the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home. Each year we invite the families that we have served and some from the local community to gather to receive assistance through the presentation of a seminar by a professional grief counselor. “Care Notes” are an assortment of brief booklets that are on display for the general public about grief related topics. These booklets include “Giving Yourself Permission to Grieve”, What Everyone Should Know About the First Year of Grief”, “Walking with God Through Grief and Loss”, “When a Death Comes Unexpectedly”, “Losing Someone Close”, and many others. We also attempt to maintain a close ongoing relationship with the families that we have served, working with them through SSI, Insurance and Estate matters. Our three-month letter reminds them that we are here for them if needed. If you are interested in any of the above, please feel free to contact us by phone or email. |
