Derron Anthony Lawes

DERRON ANTHONY LAWES of Medford, NJ, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2018. Derron was a resident of Medford for the past 10 years and was born in Dulwich, England. He is the son of the late Lawrence Lawes and the late Clara Joyce Lawes. He is the brother of Howard Lawes of Orlando, FL, Errol Lawes of Conyers, GA, Glasmore Lawes of Orlando, FL, Ongene Golding-Lawes of Jamaica, West Indies, Daunis Aboaha of Beaumont, SC and also the late Ivell McDonald and the late Conroy Lawes.  Derron was a resident at Malboro’s Children unit. He then resided in Woodbridge Developmental Center from July 1980 until his admission to the Pine Boulevard group home with Allies Inc. in June 2007. His house brother Daniel moved with him at the same time. They were really good friends and did almost everything together. Derron’s other housemates and staff will miss him very dearly.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
