Lawrence J O'Brien

LAWRENCE J. O’BRIEN, of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019.  He was 83 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he is the son of the late Charles J. & Helen (nee Rogowski) O’Brien and the Husband of the late Grace P. (nee Brophy) O’Brien.  He has resided in Tabernacle since 1978 moving there from Philadelphia, PA.  He was a retired Pressman and Printer for GSK in Philadelphia, PA.  He is also a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War.  He is the Beloved Father of Karen A. Townsend and her husband Richard of Clayton, DE, Kathleen L. Petitte and her husband Jonathan of Palmyra, NJ, Colleen M. Quigley and her husband Richard of Shamong, NJ and Patrick J. O’Brien and his husband Mike McAllister of Waxahachie, TX and the loving Grandfather of Christian Townsend (JoAnn), Brandi Ormsby, Brian Baker (Colleen), Grace Margulis, Jonathan Petitte Jr., Stephanie Quigley and Kelly Anne Quigley.  He is also survived by his Great Grandchildren Reed Townsend, Zoe Townsend, Riley Townsend, Joseph Ormsby V, Maddie Ormsby, Jack Ormsby, Cole Margulis, Emma Margulis and Bradley Margulis.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
