Karen Christina (Jung) Benzenhafer

KAREN CHRISTINA (nee JUNG) BENZENHAFER, of Medford, NJ passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 after a brave fight with cancer.  She was 53 years of age. She was born in Flushing, New York and raised in Old Tappan, NJ.  Karen attended William Patterson University and Bergen County Community College. Karen was a loving mother and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed supporting her daughter in Girl Scouts by being a Cookie Mom.  Karen also supported her son with his involvement in the Boy Scouts.  She loved to attend her children’s athletic games - always their cheerleader and Soccer Mom.  Karen was also a foster mom to many dogs, up until the end.

Karen is the daughter of Monika (nee Sauerbrey) and the late Gunter Jung; loving mother of Amanda and Robert Benzenhafer; dear sister of Thomas Jung, and Barbara (Joel) Pizzuto; adoring aunt of Vincent and Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, 127 Medford-Mt.
