Kirk Cavicchio Obituary

Our beloved Kirk passed away May 23, 2023.

Kirk Allan Cavicchio born in Woodbury, NJ peacefully passed away May 22,2023. Kirk is in the presence of God and in the arms of the Lord, safely home. Kirk was preceded in death by his father Raymond Cavicchio (St. Augustine, Florida), and his mother Maryanne Cavicchio (Povich) of Pennsauken, NJ. Kirk resided in Medford NJ for the last 18 years with his beloved wife Karen Cavicchio (Johnston) and their three daughters Allison Cavicchio, Julia Cavicchio and Emily Cavicchio. All who knew Kirk knew how much he loved his family and did not miss an opportunity to let them know how much he loves them and how proud he was of them. Kirk loved his family. Kirk loved his friends deeply as well. Everyone he met quickly became a friend. Kirk was a business man and truly considered all his clients his friends. He would say how much he loved his work because he worked with people that he considered his friends and family. Kirk was also a teacher and mentor in the work place and in his community. He coached many young ladies in the basics of field hockey. This is just one example of the kind, generous and selfless person Kirk was, always willing to give and share love to others.

Kirk had a passion for playing the guitar and had a love for music. Kirk revisited his passion for music over the last couple years. In recent months, while recovering from surgery, playing the guitar brought him great joy, comfort, and community. He loved sharing music with friends and family and creating songs for his daughters and wife.

Kirk leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness that he shared with those who knew and loved him. He had a great belief in God and his unwavering faith was an inspiration to all he encountered.

Kirk is survived by his wife Karen Cavicchio (Johnston), his daughters Allison Cavicchio, Julia Cavicchio, Emily Cavicchio, and Jessica Rossi, his brothers Raymond Cavicchio of Pennsauken, NJ, Matthew Cavicchio of St. Augustine, FL, Nathan Cavicchio of St. Augustine, FL, his grandchildren Jillian Molony and Aubrey Molony, his uncle Bob McDaniel and aunt Joanne McDaniel of Haddon Heights, NJ, uncle John Ausevich of Pennsauken, NJ, uncle Jack Povich and aunt Mary Povich of Pennsauken, NJ, his father-in-law James B.
