Maritza Janocko Obituary

Maritza Janocko, 78, of Medford, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, April 05, 2020 from complications associated with dementia. Maritza was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Virginia Velez (nee Bosch), on November 19,1941. She moved to Clifton, NJ, in 1950 with her family.  Maritza graduated from Clifton, High School in 1958. She married Robert John Janocko in 1962, and they lived together in Clifton, New Jersey for 41 years raising their only child, Lisa (Scherb). Maritza worked at various international manufacturing compainies as an office manager where she was able to capitalize on her bilingual capabilities until she retired in 2003. At that time, she and Robert moved to their current home in Medford, NJ.  Maritza enjoyed walking and being active; working out and taking care of herself. She adored her grandchildren and would always drop everything to spend time with them.  She had a contagious sense of humor and enjoyed socializing and traveling with her family and friends.  Maritza is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert J. Janocko, her daughter Lisa Ann Scherb (David) and their two children Liam Noah & AmeliaMaria Scherb; her sister Alba Tito of Bradenton, Fl, and her three nephews Vincent Tito of Sarasota, Fl, Daniel Tito (Kristen) of Ocean Grove, NJ and Michael Conners (Sandra) of Tulsa, Ok; and her neice, Kathleen Emerick (John) of Chapel Hill, NC.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to view her funeral services live on Thursday, April 9th at 4:30 PM via the internet at the following link http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/27173.  Funeral services are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME in Medford, NJ.   (www.BradleyStow.com)
