Anne S (Smith) Ross

ANNE S. ROSS (Nee Smith) of Marlton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 9th, 2017.  She was 79 years of age.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the youngest daughter of the late James and Georgie Evelyn Smith.  She is the Beloved Wife of Richard William Ross Sr. of Marlton, NJ, however, she and Richard were residents of Medford Lakes for 45 years. Anne was the Loving Mother of Kathy Lane of Marlton, NJ, Richard Ross, Jr. (Cara) of Medford, NJ, Michael Ross (Karen) of Princeton, NJ, Daniel Ross (Kami) of Medford Lakes, NJ, and Kevin Ross (Allison) of Medford, NJ.  She is the Loving Grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Jonathan, Megan, Robbie Anne, and Sean Ross; David, Alexandria, and Kristen Ross; Colleen Lane; Meghan, Bridget and Ryan Ross; and Jack and Jameson Ross.  In her early working career, Anne worked at Farmers and Mechanics Bank then as a bookkeeper at Ferry Associates.  After raising her family of 5, Anne went back to work as a bookkeeper at St. Mary of the Lakes School, where she loved interacting with staff and students, especially 10 of her grandchildren that attended the school while she worked there.  Anne’s favorite pastimes were reading, crochet and shopping.  Anne was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her children’s sporting events as well as her local Philadelphia teams. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, July 14th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes Parish, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30AM.  Interment will be private.  Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the   BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In Lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Dive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.   (www.BradleyStow.com)
