Baligh Saad Habashi

BALIGH SAAD HABASHI of Mt. Holly, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 8th, 2017.  He was 90 years of age.  Born in Bander El Zagazig, Egypt, Baligh was an actor and a producer in Egyptian radio, cinema, and television with a career starting from the mid 1950’s and spanning over 30 years.   He is the Son of the late Saad Habashi and Ekhal Seleme Tadrous.  He is the Beloved Husband of Madleen Habashi (nee Shehata) and the Loving Father of Ashraf Habashi (Christine Agaibi Habashi) and Sherif Habashi (Eden Kahle).  He is the Loving Grandfather of Madelyn Grace Habashi and Hannah Marie Habashi; the Loving Uncle of Yosry Saad  (Evelyn Saad) of Montreal, Rita Iskander (Maged Iskander) of Toronto, Adel Eryan (Robin Eryan) of Florida, and Zizi Badra (late Samir Badra) of Egypt; the Brother-in-Law of late Farouk Shehata (Layla Shehata), Nadia Rizkallah (Kamal Rizkallah), late Nabih Shehata (Debbie Shehata), Adel Shehata (Manal Shehata), Salwa Farag (Safwat Farag) and Uncle to their children; the Beloved Brother of the late Layla Eryan and late Faheem Habashi; and the Beloved Cousin of many in Ohio and Egypt.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass for Baligh on Thursday, December 14th at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony’s Coptic Orthodox Church, 267 Hartford Rd., Medford, NJ.  Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hainesport, NJ.  Aghapy meal to follow at St. Anthony’s Coptic Church.  The Wake will take place on Tuesday, December 12th from 7-8:30 PM at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 433 Riva Ave., East Brunswick, NJ.
