BURWELL DAVID MERKH, of Marlton, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. He was 92 years of age. Born in Camden, NJ, the son of the late Walter and Ruth (Blackner) Merkh and the husband of the late Phyllis A. (Masland) Merkh. He has resided in Marlton for the past 23 years moving there from Berlin, NJ. Dave was a retired Postal Worker for the US Post Office in Bellmawr, NJ and was the former owner of the Landmark Flowers in Stratford, NJ. He has previously worked for RCA in Cherry Hill and Delran, NJ. David is a graduate of Temple University and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Medford and a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. He is the Beloved Husband of Annette “Ann” (nee Allison) Merkh of Marlton, NJ and the Loving Father of David J. Merkh and his wife Carol Sue of Brazil, Loraine K. York and her husband Stephen of Buford, GA, Alice R. Grimes and her husband Daniel of Mancelona, MI and Nancy A. Loose and her husband Donald of Mt. Laurel, NJ. He is also survived by his step-children Barbara Ann Myers and her husband Fred of Shamong, NJ, Beverly J. Stewart of Debary, FL, Robert E. Burger and his wife Vicki of Shamong, NJ, Sandra I. Morton and her husband Brett of Casper, WY, Linda S. Ledman and her husband Brett of Southampton, NJ and Donald A. Burger and his wife Andrea of Lusby, MD and also 39 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Saturday, March 9th at 1:00 PM at the 1st Baptist Church of Medford, 42 Bank Street, Medford, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
