Charlotte R (Cox) Spence

CHARLOTTE R, SPENCE (Nee Cox), of Southampton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019.  She was 91 yrs. of age.  Born in Camden, NJ, she grew up in the Cramer Hill neighborhood of Camden, and has resided in Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ since 2005 moving there from Marlton, NJ.  She is the daughter of the late Harry B. and Mary R. Cox, and is the wife of the late William M. Spence, Jr.  A homemaker and caregiver to her family and friends, Charlotte also worked as a hostess for over 15 years at the original Pallas Diner in Berlin, NJ.  She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.   Charlotte is the Beloved Mother of Lisa Mary Dowell (Charles) of Willingboro, NJ, Billy Spence (Theresa Williams) of Shamong, NJ, Krista A. Jones (Gil Bates) of Lindenwold, NJ and the late Marta Lynn McCoy (John) and the late Cindy Jo Spence.  She is the Loving Sister of Janet Pendino (the late John), Donna Burtis (William), the late Norma Vincelli, and the late Joyce Kiefreider.  Charlotte is survived by her 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, November 30 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will follow in the Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105-9959  (www.BradleyStow.com)
