Edward Joseph Ryan Jr.

EDWARD JOSEPH RYAN JR., formerly of Wall Township, NJ passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was 89 yrs. of age.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is the son of the late Edward Joseph Sr. and Loretta Ryan.  Ed resided in Wall Township for 30 years moving there from Cranford, NJ.  Enlisting in the United States Army, Ed served for 2 years.  He was employed by U.S. Steel Corp for 40 years.  Ed belonged to the VFW and served on the Rent Control Board in Wall Twp. for 14 years.  He is the Beloved Husband of Jean (nee McBurnie) Ryan and the Loving Father of Michael E. Ryan, Barry J. Ryan and Laurie A. Cassai (Chuck).  He is also survived by his grandchildren Christopher and Jennifer Cassai.   Services are private and entombment will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.  Arrangements are under the direction of BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks donations to the Alzheimers’ Association, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ, 08053.     (www.BradleyStow.com)
