MARY R. (nee Roberts) ADAMS of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on her farm (Flora Lea) on May 18th, 2017. She was 91 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late Henry Warrington Roberts and Elisabeth Williams Roberts, and the wife of the late Paul Elmer Adams. Known to her friends as Polly. A School Teacher for Medford Twp. Public School System, Mary loved sharing knowledge and the joy of learning with her students. Always passionate about learning and animals, she spent many hours teaching adults how to ride horses. Polly was an active member of Farm Bureau of NJ and the New Jersey Trail Ride Association. A strong supporter of Burlington County Farm Fair, for many years she organized the large annual Chicken Barbecue on Sat evening of the fair. Polly was very involved in the semi annual national USEA Horse Trials hosted at Flora Lea. Mary is the Beloved Mother of Ronald Adams (Susan) of Chatsworth, NJ, Edwin Adams (Jane) of Medford, NJ, Kathryn Adams of Mt. Holly, NJ, and Debra Adams (Anthony Rosati) of Medford, NJ. She is the Loving Grandmother of Jason, Sebastian, Althea, Kelly, Rebecca, Jessica, Corrie and the late Christopher. Mary is survived by her 3 loving Great Grand children, and is the sister of the late Allen Roberts (Ruth). Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 6:00-9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30th, at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ. A Quaker Service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday May 31st, at the Medford Friends Meeting House, 14 Union St., Medford, NJ. Interment will follow at the Parkview Cemetery at Medford Village. Immediately following please join the family at Flora Lea Farm, for refreshments and reflections.
