RAYMOND J. BLASZCZYK passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13th, 2017. He was 96 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 71 yrs., Vilma (nee Baranyai) Blaszczyk of Medford, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the 7th child of Stella & Casmir Blaszczyk and predeceased by his four brothers and two sisters. Raymond was the Loving Uncle of 17 nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Richard and Lois Blash who were always there for them. Also many thanks to the friends and caregivers who offered their Blessings and support. Mr. Blaszczyk was a WWII veterans of the US Army and spent his years in the European sector of the war. Raymond was a member of the American Legion, where he also served as commander of Post 800. He also played an active role in the organization, The Curtain Callers and the neighborhood watch. He retired 16 years ago as an executive of Atlas Casket Company in Philadelphia, PA. He spent his remaining years with his wife at the retirement community of Leisuretowne in Southampton, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
