Rita A (Rossi) Cimino

Rita Cimino (nee Rossi), age 89, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019 at home in Southampton, NJ, while surrounded by loved ones.  Rita was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 22, 1929 to Sigmund and Emma Rossi. She was married to Joe Cimino and together they had 2 children and lived most of their lives together in Philadelphia, PA, before moving to Southampton, NJ in the early 90’s.  Rita was her happiest when surrounded by family, friends and her cat, Jasper. She lived her life caring for others and loved unconditionally. She was a very special woman who left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will be dearly missed.  She will always be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, sharp mind, sense of humor, and making sure everyone had enough to eat. She put everyone before herself.  She is survived by her daughter, Colette Harlan; her son, Joe Cimino Jr. (Silvana); grandchildren, Adrienne Pelczar (Derrick), Nicole Kotter (Rory), Joseph, and Michelle and her great grandchildren.    She is also survived by her sister, Geri Damis (Gil).  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, whom she now joins in Heaven.
