Robert L Beri

ROBERT L. BERI, (Poppy Boy) of Southampton, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2019. He was 83 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he is the son of the late Louis Ignatius and Dorothy Elizabeth (nee Wollaver) Beri.  Bob Served Honorably in the United States Army.  He retired as a Philadelphia Police Officer, and went to work as an Investigator for Public Defender Association of Philadelphia.  Survived by his wife, “The Love of His Life” Joan M. Beri of Southampton, NJ,  Loving Father of Robert Beri (Diane) of Levittown, PA., Steven Beri (Laura) of Tabernacle, NJ., Yvonne Carpenter of Pompano Beach, FL., David Avetta (Linda) of Harrisburg, PA, Susan Avetta of Marlton, NJ.  Loving Grandfather of Steven Beri (Margaux), Amanda Beri, Sean Beri, Robert Beri, Michelle Beri, Jackie Beri, Kevin Beri, Rachel Beri, (late) Forrest Carpenter III, Jaime Carpenter, Danny Avetta, Katie Avetta, Kristie Avetta.  Great Grand Children, Darwin, Wren, Karson.  Bob loved spending time with his family. His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, were everything to him. And the memories we all have, will live on forever.
