S Lee Kuensell

S. Lee Kuensell, MD, of Medford, New Jersey passed away on Monday, September 18th, 2017.  He was 96 yrs. of age.  Born in Seattle, Washington to Noah P. Kuensell and Esther P. Kuensell, Lee was raised in Riverton, NJ.  He attended Dickinson College and accelerated his studies to enter the navy in World War II.  He served in the Pacific and achieve the rank of Lieutenant in the Medical Corp.  After leaving the service, Lee worked for several years in his father’s business and then enrolled in Jefferson Medical College.  He practiced medicine in Marlton, NJ for many years.  He spent happy times on Long Beach Island where he enjoyed summers as a youth and later at this home in Loveladies.  Lee is survived by his daughter Lynn K. Harland, his son Scott L. Kuensell and his partner Sue Dickson.  Three grandchildren, Ashley E. Harland, Clare C. Kuensell and Bayard H. Kuensell also survive him.  A private family service will be held in late September.  Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the   BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the Wounded Warriors, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
