William Ernest Boal

WILLIAM E. BOAL, age 73, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.  William is survived by his three children; William, Melissa (Wayne), Robert (Rebecca) and six grandchildren: Gabriella, Marissa, Brianna, Mark, Riley and Juliette.  He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Mattis & a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bobby, his sister Micki and his sister Terese.  Also known as Bill, Pop and G-Pop, he served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1966.  While stationed in Guam, he became a father for the first time.  Later moving to Holyoke, MA and then to Bristol, PA.  Bill resided most of his life in Tabernacle, NJ, where he built his family a home and raised his children.  He was employed by US Steel in Fairless Hills, PA, and was currently retired after 20 years of service with the state of New Jersey as a corrections officer.  He remained an active member of the F.O.P, Lodge #142.  In his free time he enjoyed travel, fishing and Sci-Fi movies.  Funeral services will be private in keeping with Bill’s wishes.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Florida Keys.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.  (www.BradleyStow.com)
