William Allen Johnston

WILLIAM ALLEN JOHNSTON of Shamong, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 23rd, 2017.  He was 84 years of age.   Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, he is the son of the late Benjamin and Genevieve Johnston, as well as the husband of the late Joan D. Johnston and the Father of the late Susan A. O’Neill.   William served and worked in the United States Navy as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic.  In his spare time, Bill enjoyed wood working, painting, calligraphy and was an all-around handy man.  He is the Beloved Grandfather of Nicole O’Neill and Jennifer O’Neill.  William is survived by his sister Ruth Schaal and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, November 30th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 Am.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.   In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
