Anita J (Vogler) Cyr

ANITA J. CYR, of Shamong, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at the age of 88 years. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John & Isabelle (nee Barned) Vogler and has resided in Shamong for the past 52 years. A former Bus Driver for the Medford Twp. School District for 20 years she had also worked at White Laboratories in Kenilworth, NJ.

She is the Beloved Wife of Edward C. Cyr of Shamong, NJ and the Loving Mother of Mark Cyr (Donna Kozak), Cynthia Saint Cyr, Paul Cyr, Andrew Cyr (Sheila Duffy-Cyr), and Philip Cyr.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren Megan, Kristen, Scott, Paul, Madison, EJ, Liz, and Jenny and 4 Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter KD Cyr and her daughter in law Debbie Cyr.

Anita loved nature and the variety of birds and wildlife in the Pine Barrens. She was especially fond of the hummingbirds and chipmunks that lived in her backyard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, Nov. 21st, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM. Internment will follow in the Pinelands Memorial Park in Shamong, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Holy Eucharist Church, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088.
