Antoinette "Toni" C. (Sarlo) Mason

Antoinette "Toni" C. Mason (Sarlo) of Riverside, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ.  She was 83 years old.

Born in Riverside, NJ, she graduated from Riverside High School.  After high school, she went to cosmetology school and got her license to be a hairdresser and worked in various salons for nearly 50 years.

She is the daughter of the late John and Constance (Carnivale) Sarlo.  She is the Beloved Mother of daughter Lisa Jackson (Mason) with her husband Rob Jackson of Medford, NJ and son James D. Mason of Delran, NJ.  She is also survived by her sister Marion Cook (Sarlo), former husband James R. Mason, her grandchildren Nicole McMillan (Jackson), Danny Jackson, Halley Dunlap (Mason), Anthony Mason, and great grandson Carter Mason.

Toni was a beloved Mom and Mommom.  She was kind, giving, fun, and full of sparkle.  She lit up any room with her warmth and laughter.  She was happiest being around her family, enjoying a glass of red wine, while playing games or watching movies together.  In her downtime, she enjoyed writing and would write poetry, going on to win an honorable mention from the World of Poetry.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life in August.
