Barbara Jean (Meskill) Hanley

BARBARA JEAN HANLEY (nee Meskill), age 82, of Medford, NJ passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in East Orange, NJ to the late John and Ruth Meskill, Barbara was a resident of Medford, NJ for over 47 years. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the ER doctors of Virtua Hospital, who pursued her passions of knitting, quilting and reading.  She especially enjoyed many days down the shore in Surf City with her family and friends. 

Barbara is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Hanley Jr.; her children, Christopher Hanley (Melissa), Thomas Hanley (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Quinn, Griffin and Olivia; and her siblings, Judith Meskill, Mary Laskow and Maureen Meskill.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10 AM -11 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes, 40 Jackson Rd, Medford NJ, followed by a mass at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org
