On January 12th, 2024, Bernard J. Maher, known as “Bud,”passed away. Bud was predeceased by his wonderful wife of 53 years, Sally (nee Sternberg). Bud is survived by his lovely daughter Beverly Boynton, granddaughter Jamison (Eddie) Slater, grandson Jorey (Kelly) Boynton, great granddaughter Everly Slater, and great grandson Jasper Slater.
Bud was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp. & a loyal retired employee of PSE&G. Bud was a huge N.Y. Giants fan, always aware of the national weather from his love of the weather channel, and could always be seen helping & greeting his Medford Commons neighbors on his daily run to Binkley’s to purchase lottery tickets.
Bud’s family invite relatives, friends and neighbors to attend a Celebration of Life/ Open House at 3 Longhill Ct. in Medford Commons, on Monday, January 15, 2024, between 11am and 3pm.
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, the family requests donations in Bud’s name be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage located at 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, N.J.
