BESSIE E. WORRELL (nee Lucas) of Pemberton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8th, 2023. She was 93 years of age. Born in Pemberton, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Alfred and Edith (nee Potts) Lucas and the wife of the late James S. Worrell. Bess formerly lived in Leisuretowne in Southampton, NJ and was a member of the Medford United Methodist Church. She is the Beloved mother of Beth W. Basilone of Pemberton, NJ and is also survived by her cousin Rodman Lucas of Pemberton, NJ, niece and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two brothers, James A. and William S. Lucas, son-in-law, and nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, Oct. 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ and on Thursday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the Medford United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road, Medford, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Jr. Mechanic’s Cemetery in Tabernacle, NJ.
