Charles H. “Chad” Danter, of Chatsworth, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Chad was 55 years old. After a year-long battle with cancer, he showed everyone how to fight with courage, strength, and grace. He will forever be the winner in our eyes.
Chad was hardworking, caring, loving, and compassionate. He loved spending time with his family, enjoying the beach, taking trips to the Outer Banks, fishing, and playing poker with his buddies. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and his ability to make others smile.
Chad was the proud owner of Add On Builders, a company he built through years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He was a 1989 graduate of Burlington County Vocational School in Medford, NJ. His strong work ethic not only supported his family, but also allowed him to create a backyard oasis for his beloved wife, whom he absolutely adored.
His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and extend compassion to those around him. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving soulmate of 29 years, Wendy M. Danter; his cherished children, Brianna N. Danter-Ready (Tim), Tyler C. Danter (Lulu), and Andrew Danter; and his two granddogs, Ryder and Hunter. He is also survived by his siblings, Chuck (Nina) and Wanda; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Renee (Kurt) Rocco, Amy Davis (Scott), Vanessa (John) Cardwell, and Cyndi (Russ) Dunfee; and an abundance of nieces and nephews, including Kayla (Jake) DelVento, CJ (Alyssa) Danter, Skylar, Brayden, Ava, Alex, Logan, Rylee, and Bella, all of whom he loved and adored. He was the admired son-in-law of Elmer and Gale Brown and a friend to many.
He was predeceased by his mother, Susan Danter; his grandmother, Irene Danter (Babcia); and his grandfather, Charles H. Danter (Dziadek).
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, June 12th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, June 13th from 9:00 to 10:00 AM; followed by a 10:00 AM service at Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford–Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ. A private burial will follow.
