Danielle Marie Gehin-Scott (nee Gifford), aged 39 years old, of Voorhees, NJ passed away suddenly on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Danielle is the beloved daughter of the late Bruce Allen Gifford and the late Lynn Patricia Horner, loving sister of Christina Howard, devoted teacher to many, and survived by her niece, nephew, many cousins and extended family and friends.
Danielle radiated love and kindness, and held a deep connection to the world around her. A passionate soul, she found joy in the simple moments, whether it was hiking to the top of a mountain, kayaking on the water, or spending time in the quietude of nature. Her love for the ocean and its calming embrace was matched only by her devotion to God, which she expressed through acts of service and unwavering compassion for others. Danielle had a profound love for learning and sharing knowledge, evident in her dedication to teaching and mentoring students with warmth and understanding. She had an artistic spirit, finding solace in photography, sketching, and crafting, and her infectious laughter could light up any room. Danielle's genuine empathy and innate ability to connect with people made her not only a beloved family member and friend but also a guiding light of hope and comfort to strangers she befriended through acts of kindness and volunteer work. Her legacy of selflessness and love will forever inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
On Saturday, July 20, 2024, there will be an open visitation from 11:00am - 1:00pm, immediately followed by a memorial service in celebration of Danielle’s life at 1pm at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
In Danielle's devotion to her students and her school, she would often spend her own money on lunch and supplies for her students with special needs. Her family and close friends would like to have memorial contributions made in support of her students at the Washington Township Public School, Autism Program. Checks can be written out to Katina Pancoast who will be managing the donations at the school. Check donations can be brought to the memorial service, and a Venmo code will also be available the day of the service as well. We thank you.
