Daryl A. Gager died on Aug. 11, 2024 at her home on Fox Chase Farm in Vincentown, NJ. She was the daughter of William T. Grear and Marie E. Giberson, and is survived by her husband of sixty one years, Edmund R. Gager. She was also survived by her son, Scott W. Gager and his wife Debbie, two grandchildren Elizabeth Dodds and Andrew S. Gager. Also by four great grand children.
Daryl was a school teacher for forty five years. She taught in the Burlington County Christian School for twenty years and at Southampton Twp. School for twenty five years. She was teacher of the year in 1991 and was mentioned in Who’s Who of American Teachers. Daryl graduated from Lenape High School in 1962 and earned her BA and MA from Rowan University. For twenty five years she also taught Sunday School at Lakes Community Chapel in Lake Pine.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6PM – 8PM in the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford – Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ 08055, and on Friday August 16, 2024 from 9AM – 11AM. A funeral service will be held at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Parkview Cemetery in Historic Medford, Coates Street, Medford, NJ 08055.
