DEREK NATHANIEL HOSKINS of Medford, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 8, 2021 at the age of 22. He was born May 2, 1999, in Voorhees, NJ to Stephanie (nee Kotula) and Donald Hoskins, Jr. of Medford, NJ.
Derek was a graduate of Shawnee High School Class of 2017 and was an Office Assistant for the JCC Camps at Medford. Derek came into this world as a large personality and a gentle giant. He enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball and soccer, before his spinal surgeries. He loved gaming, music and hanging out with his friends. He was a whiz at card games of all kinds and cornhole, as well as being an avid Phillies phan. He looked forward to his yearly trip with the guys to New Hampshire. One of his greatest joys was cheering Travis on in sports where he found a new love for the sport of wrestling. Some of his best memories were times that were spent with his family, he was especially excited when he figured out who was an aunt and who was a cousin. Everyone knew that little grin that was coming right before he said some of his best sarcastic comments.
In addition to his parents he is the loving brother of Travis Laurence Hoskins of Medford, NJ, the beloved grandson of Pamela and Larry Parker of Medford, NJ and Mary Lou Hoskins of Longmont, CO, dear nephew of Kimberly (Dan) Ruble of Hainesport, NJ and Harry (Marcy) Hoskins of Mantua, NJ and devoted cousin of Colin Heminway of Hainesport, NJ and Hayden Hoskins of Mantua, NJ and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon at The Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt.
