Dr. David Ernest Bulluck

DR. DAVID ERNEST “ERNIE” BULLUCK, age 93, formerly of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2021. He was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC, to the late David Ernest and Eliza Ellington Bulluck.

Ernie completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at Cooper University Hospital where he met his late wife, Jean. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a Pharmacy Mate.

Ernie spent most of his career at Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, retiring as the company’s Medical Director after 35 years. He was very active in the Medical Division of the American Council of Life Insurance, serving as its president for a term.

Ernie was an avid golfer and member of Riverton Country Club for more than 50 years and served several terms on the club’s Board of Trustees. He also played tennis and bridge regularly. He was passionate about gardening, especially tending to his beautiful rose bushes and vegetable garden. He loved to travel with his wife, visiting all 50 states and all 7 continents with her. He enjoyed playing golf on different courses when he traveled for business.

Ernie is the Beloved Father of Karen Heine (Reed) and Neil Bulluck (Laura) and a Caring Step-grandfather to Tom and Jack Heine. Ernie is the Husband of the late Jean B. Bulluck.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his inurnment on Friday, June 18 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home of Medford, NJ.
