EDWARD R. FERRARO of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18th, 2023. He was 90 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is the son of the late Eugene and Viola Ferraro and has resided in Medford for the past several years. A graduate of Hofstra College which he attended while working multiple jobs. He was a decades-long resident of Cinnaminson, NJ before moving to Moorestown, NJ and then began life at Medford Leas in Lumberton and then Medford, NJ. Edward’s career in government contracts and finance included positions at Sperry, RCA, Analytics Corp, and finally SEMCOR, Inc. After retirement, he did some work for the United Methodist Church and was active in business planning at Medford Leas. He was a long time member of Epworth United Methodist Church of Palmyra before joining Medford United Methodist Church in his retirement years. He was a talented woodworker, a fast-pitch softball pitcher, and a casual fisherman.
Edward loved his family and will be sorely missed by those left behind. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Carol (nee Robinson), his son Alan Ferraro and wife Karen, his grandson Mark Ferraro and wife Suzy, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Medford United Methodist Church where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to Medford United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
