Eileen A. Palko

Eileen A. Palko (nee-Hereghty) born July 23,1953 of Southampton, NJ., passed away on June 17, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 69 years of age and was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Regina Hereghty (nee-Boyle), and her siblings Daniel, Thomas, Maureen, Patrick, and Kevin.  

Eileen is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Gary S. Palko and her loving son Gary D. Palko and his wife Elizabeth Palko and her adored grandchildren Brady, Grace, Emmeline, and Henry along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. She was especially close to her sister Maureen's daughters, Denise Laird (Richard Laird, Lauren Laird, & Richard Laird III) & Lauren Dercqu (Alan Dercqu, Alan Dercqu, Jr.). 

 Eileen was born and raised in Englewood, N.J., graduated from St. Cecelia's High School and then attended the Visual Arts School in New York. She was married to Gary for 41 years. They worked together at the GM Warehousing and Distribution Division in Bensalem, PA. and both retired 19 years ago. Eileen loved spending time with her grandkids and family, traveling, gardening and the beach. She especially enjoyed her retired years in North Wildwood. She was creative, artistic and loved making chocolate covered treats, blueberry cheesecakes and hand-made gifts for her loved ones. She was an animal lover and especially loved her grand dog Hudson.

A viewing will be held on Thursday June 22, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday June 23, 2023, 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Bradley & Stow Funeral Home 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ 08055.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary of Lakes, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ 08055 at 11AM. Committal Service to follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill, Medford NJ 08055.
