Elizabeth Reis Obituary

ELIZABETH L. REIS (nee Baker) of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at the age of 74. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late A. Richard Baker and Midge (nee Shirley) Baker and has resided in Medford Lakes, NJ since 1984.

A retired School Teacher with the Lindenwold School District in Lindenwold, NJ, she retired after 36 years of teaching.

She was a past president of the Medford Lakes Colony Club. Past, president of The Medford Lakes Junior Women’s Club, She served on several committees of the Medford Lakes Country Club and headed the pre-school summer camp for the Medford Lakes Colony Club for 20 years.  She was also responsible for making Mardi Gras night a very successful event to this day and was very active in the community.

She is the Beloved Wife of Gerard W. Reis of Medford Lakes, NJ and the Loving Mother of Jeffrey Reis of Medford Lakes, NJ. She is also survived by Sisters-in-law Monica (nee Kupiec) Baker, Cookie Griffith and Mar Joan Reis, Brother-in-law Richard Reis, 5 Nieces and 4 Nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, August 9th, 2024 from 9:00 am – 11:00 AM at the Protestant Community Church, 100 Stokes Road, Medford Lakes, NJ, where a Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
