ERNEST R. DARPINO of Medford Lakes, NJ passed away on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 at the age of 84.  Born in Camden, NJ, he is the son of the late Ernest J. & Amelia (nee Troni) Darpino and the Father of the late Scott Darpino.  Ernie was a long time Real Estate Agent and Appraiser and Owned and operated the Cardinal Agency in Medford, NJ for many years before starting the American Atlantic Appraisers in Medford Lakes, NJ.  He was a graduate of Glassboro State College and went on to achieve his PhD, and was a ret. Colonel in the US Army.  He is the Beloved Husband of Grace (nee Cotton) Darpino of Medford Lakes, NJ and the Loving Father of Charles K. Shugars of Medford Lakes, NJ and Kenneth A. Shugars and his wife Lynn of Southampton, NJ.  He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Barbara Darpino of Ellerton, FL and his Grandchildren Caroline, Kenny, Emily and Eric Shugars.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, August 20th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the Protestant Community Church, 100 Stokes Road, Medford Lakes, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be private in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.   Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt.
