Francis J. Murphy

FRANCIS J. “FRANK” MURPHY, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Medford, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022.  He was 87 years of age.  Born in Philadelphia, PA he is the son of the late John Murphy and Jean Early and husband of the late Martha Murphy.  He resided in Medford from 1976 to 2000 before moving to Florida.

Frank owned and operated Alenco Fence & Lumber Corporation in Medford, NJ, a business which he purchased in 1976 and later owned and operated Potter-Murphy Lumber Corp.  He had a passion for Sales and was most comfortable in that role.  In addition he served as Mayor of Medford for several years and was a veteran of the US Army.  He is the Beloved father of Christopher Murphy and his wife Sue and children Matt, Sarah, and Brian of Ivyland, PA, Maureen Murphy and children Montana and Jesse of Medford, NJ, Francis Murphy and his wife Jone and children Aizpea and Colten of Sinking Spring, PA, Regina Murphy-Lillie and her husband Jeff and children Aiden, Luke, and Logan of Charleston, SC and Ellen Murphy and son Julius of Palm Beach, FL.  He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
