Hanora (Wirtz) Smarkola

HANORA SMARKOLA (nee Wirtz), of Medford, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was 89 years of age. Born in Phila., PA, she is the daughter of the late William Joseph and Hanora Wirtz, and has resided in Medford since 1995 moving there from Phila., PA. Hanora and her husband Boris “Bud” Smarkola, owned their own Reality and Insurance business for over 40 years in the Phila. Area. Together they were married for 60 yrs before Bud’s passing. Hanora is the Beloved Mother of Claudia Smarkola of Medford, NJ, and the late Terrance Smarkola of Cinnaminson, NJ. Hanora was very close with her children as she shined her unconditional love on them every day. She is the wife of the late Boris “Bud” Smarkola. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the B.G. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.
