Henrietta ‘Etta’ D. McCarthy (nee Del Conte) of Lumberton, NJ and Jupiter, Fla, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was 91 years of age. Etta was born in Philadelphia, PA.
Etta devoted her life to her husband, her family, the boats, photography, the church, Sunday dinners, the Christmas tree farm, traveling, helping others, and being a friend to so many. She lived a long and beautiful life and left behind a true legacy of generosity and kindness.
Etta is the loving wife of the late Fredric, mother of Fred (Patty), adoring grandmother of Devon and Haley, dear sister of Gloria and Marie, survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, and one lucky cat, Thunder.
Friends are invited to a greeting on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036 where a Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM. Interment of cremains will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
